The BMW ConnectedDrive Lab China, one of the three BMW global software development centers with Munich and Silicon Valley, was founded in 2011, Shanghai. Its development scope is to develop innovative software solutions in the area of BMW ConnectedDrive which covers all aspects of Convenience, Infotainment and Safety. This is done for the Asian market as well as for the rest of the world. Hence the lab is responsible – among others – for the development of advances driver assistant systems, mobile phone solutions, mobility solutions and overall user interface design and implementation. The highly skilled team is constantly working on improving existing solutions and developing new solutions to meet the needs of the quickly moving markets in Asia. At the same time it should bring new ideas and solutions from China to BMW global products to further enrich the ConnectedDrive experience worldwide.
宝马互联驾驶中国研究院于2011年3月在上海成立。研究院致力于开发全新的基于亚洲乃至全球市场的互联驾驶电子设备及应用软件，内容涵盖便利快捷、信息娱乐和安全驾驶，是宝马应用软件中心在全球的三处基地之一（另二者为慕尼黑和硅谷）。除了应用软件程序开发，机构还负责开发适用于本地的辅助驾驶系统，移动终端解决方案，以及完整的用户界面概念设计与实现。这支最具实力的研发团队注重本土化建设，以创新和高效的一站式开发模式快速满足市场需求，为宝马互联驾驶的创新与可靠性提供了有利的保障。
